Transits and time cycles:Rules and reading
Time pages begin with public sky events independent of a birth profile, then add personal contacts where natal data exists. Daily, monthly, annual and long-term views change the scale. A public event does not imply an identical personal experience, and older personal-fortune descriptions do not define this public-sky product.
Foundations and calculation
Check range, timezone, event instant and system. Ingresses, stations and exact aspects are calculated; personal transit contacts require natal evidence. Potential BaZi relationships in the public calendar become personal only when matched to actual fields.
Worked example
An exact aspect may appear on the next day in Shanghai but the previous day elsewhere. That is a display difference. Retrograde motion can produce repeated natal contacts; retain the sequence instead of describing each hit as a guaranteed new event.
Reading and judgment
Read public context, personal match, time window and observation in order. Distinguish an exact aspect instant from an orb window and a house stay. Daily pages emphasize near events while annual and long-term views emphasize phases.
Common mistakes
Public sky events cannot establish a personal promotion, separation or income change. Astronomical precision is not predictive accuracy. Uncertain birth time reduces certainty for angles and houses rather than justifying a precise personal schedule.
